Gotta give credit to the Saints for hanging tough. You have four turnovers and go into the half down by 3 and you have to feel good about that. They gift-wrapped 10 points for the Niners and lost 3 with the fumble on the 2 yard line. Looks like anyone’s game in the second half. I don’t expect the Niners to shut out NO in the second half so that SF offense is going to have to generate some points.

I’ve seen every Saints game the last three years and I believe this is the best defense I’ve ever seen them play against, so far.
This is one hell of a football game.

Alex Smith is throwing like Tebow. The Niners will be kicking themselves all offseason if they blow this game, the defense did everything you could ask of them but their offense is a sputtering mess against a weak Saints defense.

Just saw that stat about teams +4 on turnovers being 71-1 in the playoffs. This is gonna be a bitter, bitter pill for the Niners if they lose this one.

I’m calling it now: Smith should have slid down at the 5 yard line or so. That TD may cost SF the game.

And I know you can’t really expect anyone to pass up a TD like that, but if he sits at the 5, they run almost all the time off the clock and kick the winning FG. This is waaay too much time for Brees.
