…but GIS evidence shows Staubach, Morton, Lilly, et al. absolutely wearing blu-ish tinted pants with the white tops.

I had this awesome Roger Staubach action figure (it is not a doll dammit!) back in '78 or '79, note the grayish/silver pants matching the helmet. Even the TOYS were awesome. Not accurate, but awesome.

Actually it was kind of boring, he had no one to throw to, a fate Danny White later faced in real life.

There were some “right” calls in the Seahawks/49ers game earlier today that I hated whether they were good for my team or not. Seattle got a personal foul in its favor when all the defender did was hit the receiver the wrong way under current rules. And then San Francisco got a first down on a kick when the kicker was barely touched by a defender.

I’d rather see the refs get it right over getting it wrong but benefitting my team.

And either the Cowboys are better then most people thought or the Jets defense is taking a step back this year.

I think it’s both. Most people were concerned that the Dallas defense was a problem, but they’ve looked solid tonight. Thank you Mark Sanchez!
