Man when it comes to the Steelers if your name isn’t Ben Rothlesberger you better not get in any trouble with the law or your gonna be on the outside fast.

Yeah, if you play for the Steelers, you can’t hit women. Rape them, maybe. But definitely no hitting.
Monte Kiffin is the new Dallas DC.
I’ve always liked TMQ take on hiring old coaches close to retirement that only want to collect a few more paychecks. They’re not necessarily the most energized go-getters at that stage of their career. Who knows if that’s true.
Kiffen is 73. He does seem a bit old to be heading up an NFL defense. Those are long work weeks.

Pretty sure at this point that God is trolling me. As a UT alumn and a lifelong Cowboys fan I can’t think of any other reason for this to happen. You got me God, very funny! Can you kill Jerrah now?
I started rooting for the Cowboys when Roger Staubach was their quarterback. I gave up on them when Jerry Jones fired Jimmy Johnson, being certain that he was becoming a megalomaniacal interventionist owner along the lines of Steinbrenner. Nothing since has caused me to question that opinion. Now I root for the Packers, who will never have ownership issues.
Not quite in the Steinbrenner mold. He’s got the megalomania down but Steinbrenner’s Yankees eventually won a title or two.
Jones notwithstanding, this highlights one big reason the NFL owners, as a group, are smarter than the baseball owners. The NFL’s revenue sharing and salary cap system doesn’t allow one owner to simply spend his way to championships.
As a Skins fan, I’ve always thought Jerry Jones was a moderately decent GM.
The absolute biggest problem with Jerry as a GM is that he can’t be fired after a string of bad decisions.
And the Cowboys under Jones won three, two with Jimmy Johnson and one with Switzer.
I think with whats happened since then we can safely say that was much more Jimmy than Jerry.
Oh, absolutely. As I said further upthread, when he fired Jimmy, I quit rooting for the Cowboys, which I’d done since the late 1960’s. Not sure why people are arguing with my initial post:
I didn’t give Baltimore enough credit, they’re really in this game.

The only way the Ravens-Broncos game gets better is if someone spots AJ McCarron’s girlfriend in the stands.

I don’t think anybody is, except somebody said the Yankees won World Series under Steinbrenner and so have the Cowboys under Jones. With neither really being responsible for their team winning those championships.

Has Manning thrown deep at all this game? I don’t recall him doing so. The play calling on the Bronco’s side seems to have been pretty inept, as least as I’m looking at it.
Did Manning just point across the line in the middle of his snap call, and shout “there’s a douchebag asshole” at somebody?
That is sure as hell what it sounded like. It was the last play before the 2 minute warning, and it was pretty clear. Scroll back if you can and see.
I fell asleep for a few minutes there and woke up to see Flacco hurling that deep ball to Jacoby Jones.
