It looks like the Browns add Ray Horton who was the Cards DC and he has done good work there. Just that the Cards terrible offense always overshadow what he did on defense.

From my son and his classmates:
10,20,30,40 yards to go.
Let Stephen Gostkowski start the show!
He’ll kick the ball to the Raven’s special Team
As the Entire New England crowd start the scream!

Don’t let Jacoby Jones run a long return
'Cause Jarod Mayo will run PLOW AND BURN!

When Joe Flacco throws the ball
New England defensive line will give it’s all
If Ray Rice carries, standing so tall,
Watch Vince Wilfolk BE THE WALL! (Joe is pretty proud of that line)

If Anquan Boldin makes a reception
McCourty and Chung will use their best protection
when Justin Tucker kicks with all his might
Wes Welker will run…Faster than light!

Here comes Tom Brady and throws to Lloyd
watch Brandon fly by Ed Reed and the tackles he’ll avoid
Tom tosses to Woodhead , he’ll escape Paul Krueger’s claws
gaining 30 yards, it puts the Ravens in AWE!
Next Sheen Vareen get the cue to run,
Gaining 20 yards and having so much fun!
Stephen Ridley has his feet on fire
He’s a young powerhouse that never seems to tire
Brady to Hernandez is the next play
TOUCHDOWN on the scoreboard for the best team YEAH!

So fans let’s cheer for victory
As the Belichick team again makes history
10, 20, 30, 40 points or so
Let’s win the AFC, HERE WE GO!

I can’t believe it, but Atlanta is making the Niners look like a high school team right now. On both sides of the ball.

Now the game is going like I expected. I’m for Atlanta, but I fully expected SF to win. 17-14 ATL just before the half after leading by 17-0.

That was an important score for Atlanta. With the Niners getting momentum, plus Atlanta having three timeouts and 1:55 to work with, they absolutely needed Ryan to step up and get them back on track.

I have to admit that score before the half surprised me, clearly I don’t give Atlanta the credit they deserve.

Where the heck is the pass defense in this game? In fact, there has been a dearth of pass defense in the playoffs so far.

These are all fast paced offenses, some with very mobile QBs. You aren’t going to see most of these QBs pressured.

It’s not like the old days that’s for sure.

edit: That was a bad throw by Ryan. He’s not helping his case for elite status with a throw like that.

You talking about that pick Ryan threw? It looked like Roddy White fell down.

Even so, these guys aren’t being pressured at all. It’d be one thing if they were scrambling a lot, but we aren’t seeing any of that this game either. Safety play has also been pretty bad.

Ryan better hope he got the turnovers out of his system. If you’re going to cough it up, the third quarter is as good a time as any I guess.

edit: Twice now the Falcons have dodged bullets after turnovers. Could it be that they are a team of destiny?

Ok, NOW this game is good.

PATS!

Now I feel bad for Tony Gonzalez. I could see him say “wide open” to a teammate after the 4th down play. Not a good way to go out.

Zero second half points= fail for Matt Ryan. Outplayed by a rookie, and in his own stadium, that’s just sad.

That’s just Atlanta.

Twice is just over a month in the Georgia Dome, two teams wearing red and black and from the state of Georgia fall a few yards short of playing in the championship game. How crazy.

Kaep isn’t a rookie. Happy the Niners won. But boy do I hate the bandwagoning and more boisterous San Francisco fans are getting now.

I do feel a bit bad for the Falcons because people will shit on them again. Ryan is a fine QB with a great corp of receivers but because they failed to make it to the Super Bowl people will continue to call him overrated. And hopefully Tony continues to play and get a ring in the next year or two.

Fans here are major bandwagon jumpers. You won’t believe how many people said they were die-hard Giants fans after the 2010 World Series.

These things come naturally of course, but with the SF teams (Oakland teams not so much, they wear their pride on their sleeves) just seems to happen a lot more often, and hence, more disgusting.

That’s something I respect, especially when you hit hard times.
