That is not what I would call a reliable outlet for news.

In fact, few of the unsourced things that article is saying have actually happened.

I’ve never heard of that website, so I googled it. They have also recently reported that Boris Johnson and the king of Thailand died. My condolences to the British and Thai people.

Could one of you guys check NYC News to see if I’m doing okay?

Regardless of what happens, Trump forcing an American adventure into NK is pretty much zilch - Seoul’s too close for even an point airstrike to be safe and not escalate quickly into a disaster of epic proportions. Even if Trump doesn’t understand this, everyone stationed in Asia does.

There are rumors circulating that Trump is brain dead as well.

NY Post and TMZ are the only two sources I’ve seen that say he died.

There are four media reports of critical illness/grave health issues for KJU right now, I think. (If there are more, let me know!)

  1. Jim Sciutto’s story last Sunday for CNN, that US intel was monitoring reports that KJU was gravely ill.

  2. The Reuters report (since confirmed by other media) stating that China has sent a delgation, including medical experts, to check in on/assist in the care of KJU.

  3. An HKST (Hong Kong media) report from a producer who claims to have ties to the Chinese government stating that KJU is dead, that was picked up by a lot of Asian media outlets.

  4. The report from Japan this morning stating that KJU was in a vegetative state.

Every report I’ve seen has sourced one of those four original reports. And various clickbaity places are basically repackaging some form of those four stories with new headlines to make it seem like there’s new information out there.

Any updates on Generalissimo Franco?

Still dead!

Also, we’re old.

Hence my SNL link up thread!

No, pretty sure that we get confirmation of that from him several times a day.

Maybe Kim Jong is only sarcastically dead?

Hmm. Perhaps.

This article is reporting that the Taiwan NSB director has heard that Kim Jong Un is “sick”:

TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Taiwan’s National Security Bureau (NSB) director on Thursday (April 30) said that North Korea’s leader Kim Jong Un is “sick” and that there are contingency plans in place in the event of a power vacuum in the hermit kingdom.

Given recent media reports that Kim was gravely ill or even deceased, Tsai asked Chiu about the North Korean leader’s current health status. Chiu responded by simply saying he is “sick” (有病), according to the report.

When Tsai pressed Chiu further by asking “he’s sick, but is he still alive?” Chiu laughed but did not respond to the question.

Kuomintang (KMT) legislator Lo Chih-cheng (羅致政) then asked Chiu if there were any contingency plans in the event there was a power vacuum in North Korea after Kim’s death. Chiu responded that the NSB is at the ready.emphasized text

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has made his first public appearance after 20 days of absence, contradicting rumors about his health, state media showed on Saturday.

Kim attended a ceremony marking the completion of a fertilizer plant in Sunchon, South Phyongan Province, according to the media.

This marks his first reported public activity since he was last seen on April 11, presiding over a political bureau meeting of the ruling Workers Party. His apparent absence in events commemorating the 108th birthday of late founder and his grandfather, Kim Il-sung, on April 15 spawned speculation about his health.

He’s been isolating and catching up on his Steam backcatalog and only realised what was going on when all the memes about his sister turned up on 4chan.
