I did not see that. I’ll give it a whirl before deciding to do anything else, I suppose.

I have a related headphone question. I currently use the Pulse Elites that I got 2 years ago with my PS3. When I upgrade to the PS4 does anyone know if they will be compatible with the new system?

Thanks,
Todd

According to Sony, yes.

Are there any known plans for putting older (PS1-3) titles in the digital store? I’d like to trade in my PS3, but I don’t want to lose access to so many games and end up rebuying one at some point. I don’t expect all (or even half) to make it to the PS store, but is it just assumed that there will be a large catalog of older games at some point (much like there is now for the PS3)?

unfortunately I think they are relying on streaming for this, outside of any goofy HD remake bullshit. So no, not really, but Sony will give you access to shittyfied via the magic of streaming versions eventually for a cost.

Has this been linked yet? Housemarque has published an official PDF guide for Resogun that explains mechanics & scoring.

Ooh, awesome find, Chris. Maybe now I can beat your goddamn score.

Indeed great find that Resogun guide. While I have a pretty good grasp on the systems in the game, there are still a few things in there I hadn’t figured out myself.

By chance I wandered in here and saw this.

@AntediluvianArk: That headset definitely works with the PS4 because I used it on Destiny over the weekend when my friend brought his PS4 over. He uses it all the time. Hope that helps!

Thanks to Becoming and geggis! That is definitely good news and one less piece of hardware I need to buy.

Nitpick time. When we watch a blu-ray or netflix movie on the PS4, that stupid “your device has been disconnected” message appears after the controller shuts off (I have the timeout set to ten minutes). Super annoying when you’re watching a movie. I wish there were a “don’t shut off controller when watching video” option.

The ultimate solution, of course, is that Sony needs to release a PS4 remote control already. I’ve seen third party remotes on Amazon but the reviews tell me to stay away.

Hmm, I think there is. Mine stay on, which introduces a different problem: hiding the controller somewhere so it’s not bathing the otherwise dark room in a blue light as we try to watch something.

Or you can just shut off the controller when you start the movie.

Oh, that reminds me. Does PS4 have an IR receiver? I’d love to use my Harmony remote with it.

I’m pretty sure Harmony remotes won’t work with the PS4. Logitech had an adapter for the PS3, but I haven’t seen one yet for the PS4. I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Yeah, the PS3 didn’t have IR. I just don’t know whether or not the PS4 does.

Has anyone tried Kickbeat by Zen Studio’s? (released today on the PS store)

P.S. Sorry to place this in PS4 thread, wasn’t sure if the TV would warrant its own thread at this point.

Oddly enough, that interests me for the potential to try some Vita and PSP titles I otherwise will never get a chance to play. Though I’ll need to wait for more info on title availability/compatibility. That and the damn thing will probably be AUD$200 over here.

shareleo,

I don’t know if this list will be exactly the same for your region, but here is the full list of titles that will be fully compatible with the PS TV at launch in NA:
