“The Pocket and the Pendant” by Mark Jeffrey. Slashdot reviews the book favorably, comparing it to Snow Crash, but the tone of the novel sounds a little closer to Philip Pullman to me. I think I’m going to go out and pick up a copy - anyone read this yet?
