Late to the party, but watched it and was entertained. It is pretty much recycling the original Exorcist again (the priest with past demon has to come to terms with it before dealing with present real demon etc.) It is also probably a covert project by the Catholic Church to whitewash its sins over the years, from the Spanish Inquisition to child sex abuses by priests. It is the devil’s work! Not the institutional failure of the Catholic Church!
