This is the most absurd thing I’ve heard yet. You know who else didn’t receive the Overheard Conversation card? All 8 other players.
You should get out more, your absurd meter calibration suffers from too small a sample.
There were only two players - not nine - in a position to use OC to expose Rob. Rob’s avoidance of those two players is information to be considered. Your pretense at failing to grasp that is, well, suspicious…

I have seen the true face of scottagibson, and he is a servant of GOOD.

Only two people had the chance to use the card on rob - jostly and annie. I think clyve suggested it first though a few of us seconded it. Would have been a great first play (if rob was Good.)
I offer No Confidence to Annie, with the hope she’ll use it wisely.
I plague Blips with Opinion Maker, so we may know his mind.
I will build on the successful team from quest 1. My team is:
scott
annie
rowe33
jostly
Kl3mnop

I don’t understand why people feel compelled to post this.

I literally just woke up and my very first thought after reading your comment was that there were 8 other players he could have given the card to.
But ok, I’m curious, why not establish Confidence with annie? She has already lead a mission that was successful. Would it not be better to establish confidence with someone with some established integrity rather than a complete unknown?
jostly

The cheesy melodrama or the fact itself? I think it’s quite useful to post it, to acknowledge that I have actually been notified of it, and that it wasn’t a surprising evil lurking there. Why do you think it need not have been posted?
My original trust basis was the same for annie and jostly - that they were both passed over by Rob. It was strengthened by both of them agreeing with my interpretation of Rob’s actions - in fact jostly’s recognition of the import of that action was simultaneous with mine. So they were both on an equal footing in my mind.
Annie increased her standing by choosing a Good team and voting success. I want to add jostly to that team, because of the trust basis I’ve established, but I’d like to vet him further if I can before deciding to put him on the team. So I chose him to see what he would say. It’s not much - an evil person could still call me good, and might be likely to - but it is better than nothing. To me what matters is not that he’s vetting me, but that I’m vetting him. I grant it may be different for the rest of you, but I’m the one that has to choose a team, so I used the card to that purpose.

As you’ll recall, jostly was also selected to be part of robs team which was shot down - I’m guessing you are assuming that rob was attempting to implicate him as being evil if the mission failed?
Possible good list:
- clyve, reported to be good by kl3mnop, but people don’t believe it because rob is associated with this information
- annie, part of a successful mission
- scott, part of a successful mission
- rowe33, part of a successful mission
- jostly, reported scott to be good
That is 5 people out of the total 6 who are good with me making the 6th person since I know I’m good.
I’m not 100% sold on any of these people and am not very confident in this team, but I’m going to vote yes for scott’s team of himself, annie, rowe33 and jostly since I hold the Opinion Maker card.
Wait. You’re going to vote yes for a team you’re not on? I thought that was against your policy, Blips.
Also, your klem bullet point is wrong.

I considered voting no, but one servant of Arthur cannot compete against Mordred alone. At this point I’m willing to exchange one quest for valuable information.
Also, your references are becoming increasingly arcane.
This is a complete reversal for you. You were adamant about not voting for quests you’re not on, even when I argued against that for the first quest. Now you’re suddenly reversing field. I just think it’s weird.

That’s fair and perhaps I failed to express myself correctly. I was adamant about being included in the first quest because we had very little information to work off of. Now, things have changed a bit and I’m curious to see just how unwavering this new team will prove to be.
Also, I still have no idea what a “klem bullet” is. :/
