rowe33 holds No Confidence
ankamela holds No Confidence
Would you like to use No Confidence to nullify this approved quest team?

I’m reading 6 YES (7 including the DNV) and 3 NO in the list. May I assume the list is correct and the summary is out of synch?
If the list is correct, there are a couple of surprises here: Xtien = no, Clyve = dnv?

It’s correct, I forgot I hadn’t voted. Fire’s reminder came in late last night and I was sleeping :(
I would have voted yes though, if that matters.

I’m a little concerned about how the voting went but not enough to use my card.
I made it clear above that I couldn’t go with the team based on Blips’ weird flip-flop, etc. My vote should hardly be a surprise.

I didn’t see it as that weird. I have doubts about Blips - that’s why I gave him Opinion Maker. It isn’t much help, I’ll grant, since if he’s already publicly committed to voting no whenever he’s not on the quest team, he could do that first and openly with no other explanation. But it was all I had, and I thought making him vote publicly, first, would give us some direction.
That being said, I thought his explanation for his vote was reasonable. There’s more information available than for the last team - a successful core team! - and it is not surprising he would see his way to voting for it.
I’m actually a bit more worried about you at this point. Sorry, but I’m having a hard time understanding your ‘yes’ vote for the Rob team, and your ‘no’ vote now. Blips’ flip doesn’t explain it for me.
I tend to prefer to vote yes for early teams regardless, because I don’t believe in VNFI. Simple as that. I was headed for a yes vote for this team too, until Blips suddenly decided to abandon the core value of not voting on a team Blips is not on. I find that weird, the explanation notwithstanding. Since Blips also says the OpMak card was requested of you, and you provided it, and this resulted in the flip-flop, it calls what I thought was a solid team into question.
Given the voting break down, obviously an evil player voted for it. Accidentally or not.

I think it makes sense to vote for the first team, too - the anti-VNFI position - when there is no information.. In this case I think we had information, and I would hope that information trumps tendency.
As to this vote, it isn’t clear to me that an evil person voted for the team. I count 3 no votes and one DNV. Only 6 people voted for this team. The ‘no’ votes are consistent with my core theory, that Rob is evil. He gave Kl3mnop and you cards, you both voted for his team, you both voted against this successful team. It doesn’t look good, does it?
God I hate that v/u thing in those tapestries!

Yes, changing one’s core valves would be painful…
Nope. It’s a little too neat, isn’t it.

“You guys! You guys! Fantastic news!” the town crier squealed, hanging on to the windows from outside. The sun was just clearing the Eastern horizon. You pulled down your blanket and sat up in bed.
“What the hell?” you growled. “We’re on the third floor. How’d you get up here?”
“I climbed! Never mind that! Did you hear? They’ve scheduled the hanging! For tomorrow!”
“The hanging.”
“Yeah, remember? The evil wizard you helped bring to justice! They were going to let him rot in his cell forever but now Parliament has decided a public hanging is better!”
“That’s great.”
“Can I come in?” he sniffed at the warm air, and the scent of coffee brewing in the kitchen filled his nostrils.
“No.”
“Aw. Okay well then see ya later,” he said, and disappeared. A short time later, you heard a thump as his feet hit the earth beneath the stony castle wall.
Your quest succeeded!
