Hey, before I send in my Quest vote, did you want to try to pre-throw me under the bus one last time, scott?

What do you mean? I’m counting on you for a success vote!

Quest 1 Results
Even before they approach, you hear of the Knight’s success. Church bells peal triumphant melodies. In the distance, you see three figures returning on horseback. They bob up and down joyfully, leaning into each other, straining to hear each others’ stories. As they reach the castle, you hear their uproarious laughter waft in through the open windows with the scent of peach blossoms. They’ve returned: they’ve returned victorious.
Quest 1 is a success!
The team:
rowe33 (team leader), Christien Murawski, scottagibson

scottagibson holds Strong Leader.
Scott, do you wish to assume leadership at this time?
Awesome! I was wrong to be concerned.
I pledge to send the same exact team to save scott from having to burn the Strong Leader card this time. This should put us in good stead.
I mean, that is, unless scott has objections. He has first say.
Well done, gents.

Hear, hear! I pledge to do my part in getting us to 2-0, then we nail down the rest with plot cards most likely.
The quest succeeded? Woo hoo!
Sorry about the delay, but this is great news to wake up to!
I won’t use my Strong Leader card now. I have complete confidence in Christien to lead the next quest to a 2-0 lead.

I don’t know, it seems strange that at least 3 false knights would vote yes to a mission that didn’t include a false knight. I think I’m going to assume that 1 of the three is a false knight. If that’s correct, then I think it’s probably either Scott or Christien, since Scott vouched for Rowe, which means they’re either both false knights or Rowe is a true knight, but Scott isn’t. Since Rowe chose the team it’s very unlikely that they’re both false.

Christien Murawski is the team leader for Quest 2a.
Christien, please distribute the following plot cards:
No Confidence
In the Spotlight
Keeping a close eye on you
It’s hard to fault this logic, other than to say that I’m a true knight. It could be that there is a false knight hiding on this team, but 3 success votes is evidence I’d find hard to ignore in naming the next team. I hope Christien will keep this core team together for the next quest.

Good cards!
I think it would be a mistake to assume the team is SAFE just yet, but being up one on evil is a good place to be.
I agree. I’m not assuming the team is safe - just noting that it’s the best starting point we have, given what we know.
And those are great cards!
You guys are not kidding. Dang these cards are good. Let me sort this out.
We should also table talk the fourth member of our team.

I don’t think there’s any good reason to add one person over another at this point… Same goes for the card distribution, really.
It doesn’t help that everyone is so quiet…
I’m a noob, but I’d say Rob. He’s next in the leadership order, and will get to distribute the next set of cards. So putting him on the team is something of a test, isn’t it? If the quest succeeds, we’re up 2-0 and can trust him with the leadership. If the quest fails, we can SL the leadership and distribute the next set of cards.
I know it’s possible there is another evil on the team who was laying low in the first quest. But I know I’m good, and I know rowe is good, and I’m trusting Christien. So, that’s my suggestion.
Dave. The grown-ups are talking. Shush.

Thanks scott. I wasn’t thinking rob, but I will now. I was actually thinking clyve because of his singular no-vote. Just as you said my early caution gave you the impression I might be good, so am I weighing that.

rob’s got the No Confidence card anyways, thanks to my early distribution. May as well throw him into the mix I guess to see which side he’s actually on, unless someone else pitches in with a better idea. Or pitches in at all - there are at least a couple people who haven’t said anything yet. That always reeks of suspicion to me!
