Do we definitely think this team will fail? Or is that what the Spies want us to think?

I’m still OK with it. I think we’re fine…but perhaps not.

However, bobman’s done a lot of talking, but very little card-playing. Makes me wonder if he’s setting up his play for the next mission?

And his dream team with both him and Thongsy on it just gives me the willies.

I have marked these words, and am hoping that after the game I can show you that I was right.

Anyway I would be happy to use my card right now, but only when I get the all-clear that we’ve had enough discussion instead of just triggercut’s I-dare-you tactics!

Who you waiting on? Knightsaber and delirium are checked out. Dave Perkins could be along any moment to apologize for not participating more. Lantz has checked in. clyve too. kl3m’s said he’s traveling today, but seemed staunchly opposed to any team with rowe33 on it, so it isn’t hard to imagine his vote.

Here’s a better question.

If bobman plays No Confidence, who’s the next team leader?

He may be cooperating out of general Spyness but it makes sense not to play it unless the Resistance agrees, either way. Thongsy has two things going for him from my viewpoint:

  1. He correctly identified me as Resistance
  2. He was on a team with Klem & Dave - hardcore Spies in my book! We couldn’t have had 3 Spies, right?? That’s a terrible argument if Klem’s somehow loyal but I just can’t imagine he is. Was Klem signaling the other Spies again when he voted publicly despite my recommendations to vote privately? Public votes could ONLY help the Spies and could only hurt the Resistance at that point.

It would pass to KnightSaber, then down the line. Eventually I could be leader for mission 4 if it comes to that, before we hit the 5 vote limit.

Ah, so KS, then Lantz, then Rowe33.

I’m pretty mentally drained from this game too. Which is what cause me to post that fake theory earlier. Going from unknown to Resistance to Spy to Resistance to unknown to Resistance back to being a Spy again in people’s eye and having to try and convince others of my position. I really don’t know why Trigger decided to put together half of two teams that failed. He could’ve just used Team Delirium which certainly only had one spy. We win this round then Rowe33 could’ve used the next set of cards to figure out the spy from each of those two teams. But alas it’s too late for that unless Trigger got very lucky and the spies turned out to be Dave Perkins and Lantz or at least just one of the two for now. I’m ready to get this over with just to see who the spies were and where we went wrong if we did.

Alrighty then I use No Confidence

So the plan is to go with:

delirium
rowe33
triggercut
clyve
Lantz

Is that it? With the thinking that both clyve AND Lantz can’t possibly both be Spies. Now we just need a team leader to propose it…

Excellent. Would any Strong Leaders wish to weigh in at this time?

I’m saving it for mission 5 and the cards, IF we get there.

Knightsaber is team leader.

Please select a team!

I think this is a good plan. Knightsaber, you should propose this team. If you don’t, it is supremely suspicious.

Telling me what’s suspicious is pretty rich. Let me read back before I pick.

:D

I laughed at this

What happens to my Spot light? Is it gone?

No, you don’t actually play that card until an actual mission vote occurs. Right before the vote, you play the card on someone on the mission, then they’d have to vote openly. If only we had that LAST mission…

Trying to catch up on a layover: can anyone give me the quick recap of why that team failed?

It should have failed and I believe Resistance is better off for it to have failed…but an odd outcome given the clearly discussed strategy heading in (which even if I don’t agree with I can appreciate the thought process to arrive at it.)

Consensus that it was a poor selection by triggercut or some intimation from the voting?

So is this final the proof of Kl3mnop being a spy?
