I’m not sure about the conclusions you’re drawing. Russia was attacking and pushing the AFU back (slowly and incrementally) in the summer. Are you saying Russia had a million men then as well?

I just told you, they need 3-1 advantage ANYWHERE to push the entire front, a million men might do that. You’ll see. I’m not sure you can generalize ratios across an entire campaign like that. Certain battles may require a 3:1 advantage, but depending on the terrain and other quantifiables, it might require more. The 3:1 ratio is also probably taking into account that the two sides are of similar quality and morale.

The “million men” isn’t happening. The Russians don’t have enough trainers, enough training facilities, enough uniforms, enough food, enough medicine, enough of anything to come close to equipping a million men.
