Let them in, seal them off, kill them all.

Russian.

Interesting Estonian assessment:

These are massive losses, it means the Russians have lost most of their original force. It also means that there is still plenty of fight left in the Russians. But it also means they have to finish this in less than a year. They have a lot of tanks on reserve, but how many are in any shape to be used without significant refit - I have my doubts since we have seen them using obsolete T-62’s on the battlefield. And they can’t use up all of their artillery ammo - they have to keep some in reserve. But I expect the Ukrainians are in a similar place, especially with respect to artillery ammo.

See, all I got from all that is Shashank Joshi is clearly Janster.

A million men is nowhere to be seen :)

Armies adapt or die:

Morocco is foregoing tanks that it purchased so that they can go to Ukraine:

My dad served in Korea during the war. He was an officer and was a passenger in a jeep. He was looking at a map or orders or something so he didn’t pay attention and the driver took a wrong turn and went into no man’s land.

Soon enough a mortar shell landed behind the jeep. My father realized where they were and barked an order to get the hell out of there, probably with plenty of colorful language thrown in, so the driver backed up and a mortar landed in front of the jeep. That’s how fast the Chinese zeroed in – two shots. They were known to have that kind of accuracy.

Anyway, they got out or else I wouldn’t be here.

Chicken Kyiv?

For non-UKians, Charlie Bigham is the big slightly upmarket ready meal brand here.

Edit: Looks like M&S have also changed it.

Never heard of it!

At least one of the big Australian supermarket chains did it way back in July - I was genuinely surprised… as I said then I was not expecting that level of geopolitical awareness from the Woolworths labelling department.

A Russia is evil thread should not make me hungry.

It’s weird that they have to specify boneless. I’d be pretty fucking surprised if I found a bone in a chicken kiev/kyiv.

There is precedent.

Those are bone-in green chiles?

it just goes to show that every thread in QT3 ends up being about food.

I was just about to say : “yo, you forgetting you’re on Qt3 mate? Of course it’s about food after a bit!”

That said, I could go for a chicken Kyiv meal. Looks yummy!

Patriots might be going to Ukraine soon! I wonder how soon they can be activated? Would be helpful to counter the Iranian srbms
