And then the tide started to turn as they realized their big strong totalitarian leader was a grade-a loser.

I don’t disagree with your points at all. But Denmark is a NATO member, and Putin recently threatened Finland and Sweden with the same fate as Ukraine if they joined NATO.

Although other reports indicate Sweden and Finland are claiming they’re unfazed.
Unsurprisingly, Trump’s legacy of horror remains. Before his presidency, there were news reports of Sweden starting to consider NATO due to concerns over Russian aggression, but that seemed to go away with Trump’s anti-NATO rhetoric. (Note: I’m American not Scandinavian, except by ancestry, so I’m saying this based on what I remember reading as an outsider.)

Reports (as unreliable as they are) are that it’s mostly light troops without armored support.

Yesterday Belarusian president spoke with the French president for an hour. Some of the sanctions hit Belarus directly, but it basically survives on Russian support already as it’s under heavy sanctions because of a recent transformation into a terror state.
Today Belarusian president doubles down on rhetorics about Belarus being neutral. He Calls Zelensky a liar. It’s a very obvious lie even if you look on the map.
