Well, this will cause Putin to go nuclear.
Kosovo wants in NATO and wants a permanent US military base.
That’s very impressive. I’d love to see what the Russians are doing, they use to be good at propaganda.
Or maybe they are just good at propaganda targeted to stupid Americans.
If this is true, then wow!
Ukrainian forces destroy convoy of 56 Chechen tanks, kill general near Kyiv – report
I have not posted this because I couldn’t find official confirmation. Sounds too good, tbh.
Reportedly it’s the convoy I posted the video of earlier.
Well the article did say this:
According to the report, which the outlet said was confirmed by the Ukrainian President’s Office

They’ve got much bigger teeth than my headcanon was reporting. Good for them.
Thanks for posting that Scott. Romney is too smart and honorable to be a Republican, and too conservative to be a Democrat. I don’t envy the position he is in, but I’m glad he is a Senator.

That would certainly synch with that video. The article says they were hit by a missile barrage and in the video it was certainly something powerful, more than just small arms and anti-tank missiles.

Very much looks like it. Those have a lethal blast radius of something like 1 km, and you are apt to be more vulnerable if you are in an underground shelter.
Kind of changes the equation to “surrender now or we kill tens of thousands.”
Actual Euronews link: Ukraine is one of us and we want them in EU, Ursula von der Leyen tells Euronews
With the added “there is a process”. Ukraine won’t join the EU any time soon.
This thread is frustrating to follow. It’s a lot of reposted tweets that might or might not get debunked, turn out to be propaganda, are only good to vent feelings.
I find following the BBC live news feed means I don’t get the actual news as soon as they are posted here, but they mean something when they are.
Not a diss on any poster at all. I just find using random information from the net to be more frustrating than enlightening. Interesting that this is what war coverage is in modern times though.
Berdiansk confirmed to have fallen. Quite impressive it held out as long as it did (population of roughly 100k).
Confirmation from Reuters.
Presumably, Putin didn’t think it was gonna go like this.

Right? It’s been a strange combination of helpful and frustrating to follow this thread along with traditional outlets because so many of you are so good at bringing in information from so many different sources. And I especially love how conscientious everyone is about sourcing what they post or write. But it’s like building a wall of information and frequently having to go back to tear it down and rebuild it again.
But it reminds me, too, how much I gravitate to Qt3 during a crisis. How much we trust each other. I remember feeling the same way on January 6th.

I’d personally feel a lot more lost without this community, so thank you all.
