That is pretty awesome.

From the paleontology field, maybe this is old news gussied up to advertise an upcoming BBC documentary, but the article was new and fascinating to me. A dig site in North Dakota uncovered all kinds of cool dino stuff, including evidence of critters killed on That Shitty Day With The Asteroid, and an egg with a baby pterosaur inside.

I just saw an exhibit at the local public museum with a replica of that thing!

I was thinking of going to that just today. How were the exhibits?

Not bad. The GRPM exhibit has some pretty neat pterosaur models - some are huge, hanging overhead - and lots of various fossils (or casts thereof). There’s also some kind of “fly like a pterosaur” game but I skipped that, let the kids have fun with it. I found it interesting to compare what science is saying now about flying dinosaurs and compare it to what I remember from when I was a kid. There’s been some changes!

Check this out, it’s pretty cool. I can read normally, but find this typeface made it even easier.

Blimey, that’s like night and day for me. How do I get my kindle to do that? :(

Also, it appears they’ve made an API available to leverage it.

I find the non-highlighted version much easier to read. Brains are so interesting.

Me too. The bolded text just slows me down.

Same for me and my wife. No difference.

I see a lot of hype and no actual research indicating this is effective.

And a paid API…
