Well, we’ve got two new items per class. There should be two more on the way now, shouldn’t there? We’ve got a defense item, a sort of class specialist item, so what now?
I’d bet on a tranq gun for the spy perhaps, and maybe a melee upgrade for the sniper in the form of a bigger, sharper knife. Which then puts the spy at range and sniper at melee, and would be hilarious to announce at the same time.
the sniper really doesn’t need a bigger and longer machete. That thing does a lot of damage and it’s long enough that I’ve been killed when I thought I was out of range.
I’m glad to see the Bow, it looks cool. But I’m still waiting for a machine gun upgrade. That gun is worthless. I want a new one. now.
So for the first time in a bit over two years, I have a pc and now I can really play this game. I’ve already joined the Steam QT3 group, so soon y’all should see a newbie medic online.

I’ve had the same thought, but in actuality all the melee weapons except the spy’s knife and the scout’s bat (and the updates) operate in exactly the same way.

I really get too much of a kick out of these “meet the …” videos. Watching a bunch in a row was the finalstraw that made me break down and get TF2.

This could be a classic case of reading too much into a video, but I wonder if the third Spy ability will be a ranged sapper (which would be kinda cool).

Ha,and i thought i might be the only one who noticed that!
However, i don’t think it is. I found this ‘meet the’ video to be a little more creative than the others, and i found they were stepping outside the game a little bit to engage that creativity(ie, the medic’s glasses)
I wonder how the spy’s feign death will deal with being on fire.
