The only game I played on PC this year was Civilization IV. For the first time since the first generation of video accelerator cards, I did not buy a single new PC game.

I have a Mac and can’t play PC games very well, but dammit, World of Goo, even if I played it on a Mac, is going on the list.

For a PC gamer, that’s how sad a year it was for gaming for me. MGS4 is only on there because, even if I hated the gameplay, it was an interesting movie with interaction.

Shenanigans! Mass Effect and Bioshock 360 were released in 2007.

Those were the only two games I bought for the PC this year (and I never bought the full version of Spore) – I’ve pretty much quit PC gaming at this point.
I’m trying to remember what good flash games I fooled around with this year to pad out my PC list; I’m going with Achievement Unlocked as my number 3 for now, since that’s the only one I can think of off the top of my head (since that’s the most recent one).

Most of the console games I played this year came out in 2007. Those are the only two from this year that I liked enough to include.

Warfare: 1917 and Monster’s Den: Book of Dread were both excellent flash games this year. Not sure if you played either of them, but both are much more entertaining than Achievement Unlocked, which is only really good for one session.
