ChatGPT, but with a 17-foot chain gun!
I think you typoed ChatGPBrrrrrrrrrr there.
Heh. Indeed.
Now imagining drone-piloted A10s that fire a load then kamikaze into something.
When I was up for re-enlistment they were trying to entice me to stay in by offering to send me to DLI East in DC to learn Cambodian. I’m not sure where they would’ve ended up sticking me, hopefully Field Station Kaneohe in HI, but I didn’t stick around to find out. I was a distinguished honor grad from the Russian course in Monterey, and the SIGINT course, and then spent the rest of the 4 years at Ft. Hood in the middle of Texas. The Soviet Union ceased to exist in the middle of my time in Monterey, so there wasn’t a need for all of us at that point. The E5 promotion points were maxed out the entire time, except for 1 2 month period in '94.
So they took them across the tarmac? I think Tuscon is where they are based, or at least some of them.
That’s the same thing I thought!
That was a cool place to visit when I was kid. My uncle was stationed there in the early 80s when he was on active duty for a while. He worked for the South Dakota Air Guard as a mechanic for most of my life, but at some point he went back on active duty to work at Davis-Monthan. So he drove me around to see all of the planes sitting there.
Yeah, of course now they probably need those Russian and SIGINT skills! But then, you’d be a mighty old sergeant by now too.

Something to be said for legions of weaponized koalas, to be sure!
Arm the Emus. They are already veterans.
But, do Emus have Arms?
Can drop bears ride emus?
Ah yes, the long forgotten Great Emu War.
