They repeated many times in interviews that both versions will be identical content-wise, everything that is improved in xbox version will be released for PC as a free patch to all existing customers…

just like it was in case with Witcher 1 (EE improvements as a free patch)

If they did not release those improvements/content to PC gamers, PC gamers would be angry. CDP does not like it when their customers are angry, especially their core fanbase customers.

The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition launches worldwide for Xbox 360 on 17th April, developer CD Projekt has announced.

The developer has added a raft of new features and insists it’s the “most polished and definitive version of the game”.

Hopefully third times the charm for me, I just couldn’t get into the game either from launch or with the last patch. Then again I didn’t play the first Witcher until its enhanced edition, so who knows.

Sounds great. I think that’s just barely enough content to want to play it a third time, which I almost never do. It’s tough because it’s the same character, and the last build tree I need to try (alchemy) doesn’t sound like it will be dramatically different like magic and swordfighting were. I’ll probably set it to normal difficulty and just zip through it. Hmm, maybe wait until my next videocard.
