And actually if you move quickly enough, you can get through the door before it closes.
I get a little thrill inside when I make it just in time and the funnelling animation takes over.
Anyone try Indiana Jones-ing it through an NPC open door? (aka rolling)
Wow there are some pretty cool mods already. Like Dice Poker looking like in TW1
Definitely using that in next playthrough.

Ah, Jim Sterling. Never diss apoint.
Thanks for the mod links Paul. Looks like some good stuff in there.
WTF. Seriously, they did the same mistake, there is a difficult boss fight and i can’t save before. In each try i have to do 3 other fights and then again the boss fights. So stupid.
What are you talking about here?
I read his review. I kind of feel bad for people who can’t overcome the learning curve. It sounds like he didn’t even know how the targeting system worked. I’ll count my blessings that I grasped this game fairly easily. Other times I’m the one left out in the cold.
The weirdest complaint was about armor clipping into the rest of the character model. Has this guy seen Dragon Age? TW2 is in a different league. I barely notice anything.
2nd playthrough ongoing, making all the “other” choices. Playing on hard. Damn, I love this game so much
If all DLC are as good as the troll trouble one, I might even consider paying for one … Damn, 1st game I pre-ordered in forever, now paying for DLCs, what is this game doing to me?!
Also, is anybody else enjoying the various “extras” that were provided with the GoG version? The art book is superb and you can tell a stupid amount of work went into creating the world and the various places and locations.
OST is also surprisingly good
Act 2 boss I suppose? If it’s the one, cannot say I found it interesting at all as a fight unfortunately. Did it on easy and moved on.
IMHO there is no excuse for a dev doing this ever. It is the main thing that really spikes my nerd rage.
Troll Trouble kind of sucks if you’re doing it all at once by itself. It’s mostly running back and forth.
But it’s worth it to see the troll model. He’s cute when he goes to sleep at night.

Just installed the retail copy after getting my computer fixed up. Launcher takes about 40 seconds for me as well. Where do you go to download the additional quest? I didn’t see an option for it under downloadable content on the launcher.
I haven’t had a chance to go back through the thread yet but did they say if they’re going to do anything for collector’s editions that the bust came damaged?
We’ll agree to disagree :)
I love how it’s perfectly integrated into the world and quite liked the idea of a quirky troll taking care of <spoiler> plus as usual a choice of how you want to deal with the situation
Yes, Act 2 boss. The big one.
Btw, tactics to beat it? (on normal)
Because it’s super hard, there has to be some trick to it. Thing is, i can’t guess the trick without trying a few times, and for each try i have to repeat the previous fights :S.
I still have no idea what boss are you talking about (maybe Druarg or whats its name?).
But I did not have any problem with him on normal. Maybe you are fighting something I have not seen in my playthrough.
MINOR TACTICAL SPOILERS
Hit it in the back with strong attacks, not light ones. Dodge to the shield side to get around him. Fight shouldn’t last more than about 20 seconds on normal.

That’s not gonna happen.
CDP, although they fixed some bugs and other things in TW1 and added content, never bothered to go back and balance anything properly or change the way any systems worked (except for the added herbalism inventory spots I guess).
Maybe they’ll surprise us, but I doubt it.
I assume all back attacks do 2x damage since there’s a skill in the sword tree that reduces the damage of such attacks.
