The manual patch from GOG should work fine.
Yeah not so much, the patch to 1.07 is listed as “Coming soon” on GOG.com and the Galaxy client can’t even connect right now
It resets all your setting to default :( Camera sensitivity is really high… is that the new movement mode…?
Edit: I think I’d just forgotten the camera speed while playing other games.
Better inventory is there, movement option does what we expected, seems to be a few more options around Hairworks. All good so far.
Now the darkness only stays at nighttime,
In the morning it will fade away
Daylight is good
At arriving at the right time
It’s not always
Going to be this grey
All things must pass…
This is what I see on the GOG site in my library. GOG Galaxy doesn’t have it at all. I’m staying put for a bit.

Yeah, it looks like they yanked it for a quick something or other.

Now it’s back. Getting 6.5MB/second from gog.com.
The new movement controls are so much better. Now controls the way I would expect from a game.
That difference in patch size between GOG site and Galaxy is pretty massive (2.1 vs. 7.5 GB). Different patching schemes, different compression? Might make a difference for those with limited bandwidth/caps.
Is there a stat showing how many hours I’ve played on the PS4 version?
I don’t think those are the actual patch sizes as released. Note the coming soon, and the fact that part 1 is all of 1 mb. It’s a 7.6 gb patch on all platforms.
Most surely, the 7.5gb is the new “data set”, entirely replaced, while the 2.1gb is an incremental patch, that serves to update the old data files (of around 7.5gb of data) to the new updated version of the same size.
Looks like it’s time for a new solid state drive. I didn’t have enough space for the patch.
Just hopped in to put all my sentimental items into the stash. I guess the movement is better but it’s been so long I can’t really tell.
Got an error while patching. The game runs fine and says 1.07, though I have more free hard drive space than I started with now. Yay?
Wow… the new movement tweaks aren’t much, but they make a big difference. It is basically a removal of the stop/start lag when moving.
Should have been this way when it shipped, feels way tighter.
it not only patched but also added a 6gb file bleh

Yup. The 1MB file is the installer, the incremental patch is 2.1GB. That’s all you need via the gog.com download. You can install the downloaded patch manually even if you’ve been using Galaxy for previous patches.
There kind of is but it won’t be accurate at all unless you completely close the game. If you just use the suspend rest mode it still counts that time too so it says I’m at something like 50 days of play time or something. In the character menu you press right trigger or R3 or something and it brings it up. I don’t remember exactly.
So supposedly, they upped the level requirements on some of the gear, can anyone confirm?
