Final DLC confirmed - and it’s a New Game Plus mode. Not this week though.
Nice! That’s a good way to try out some of those alternate quest choices.

That may get me to go back and do the quests I missed.
Just when I thought I was out
Best comment from reddit: “Disappointed. I was hoping for an alternate outfit for Dandelion.”
So, tell me what typically is involved in other games that do NG+?
In most, NG+ means you get to restart the game with most/all of what you had when you finished it (in terms of levels/gear), instead of starting from scratch again.
Hopefully they use the opportunity to flatten out the progression curve. This is how it’s done in a game like Bloodborne. Player weapon damage is maxed out so enemy HP in early areas is raised to just a bit higher than endgame content, and the original endgame content will be maybe 1.2x from before.
Not sure they will do this though. They might just add 30 to all the enemy levels and call it done.
I don’t want to replay the main plot but I’d like to explore more side quest areas.
I wonder if NG+ also carries your fast travel points forward or if that would break the game. There’s a missable trophy tied to a contract that I’d like to go get but it’s in Skellige so I haven’t bothered starting a new game yet.

i think i’ll play it over now that i have g-sync.
Grats, which monitor did you buy?
CDPR posted a bit more about NG+
Regarding some of the questions that appeared since yesterday, here are some answers.
Enemies will be stronger obviously.
What carries over?
Player experience (if you’re below level 30 when finishing the vanilla game, you will be bumped to level 30 for the start of NG+), items (excluding: quest items, books & letters, Gwent cards, usable items, trophies) and alchemy recipes.
When starting New Game Plus you can select any difficulty level.
You can obtain the Death Match achievement when playing the NG+ mode.
What’s the starting level of the character when beginning NG+?
The same that you had when finishing the game, if above 30, otherwise you start at 30. You also get a free Clearing Potion at the start so you can reset your skills and try a different build.

I wonder if the quest items removed include Witcher gear?
Witcher gear never goes into the “quest items” tab, which is what I think they mean, so it should stay - though I wonder if NG+ will bring higher-level Witcher gear with it.
People have dug through the files and found code for stuff like this in the game now, so it’s probable that we’ll get them enabled with NG+.
Taking away Gwent cards? Well there goes half the player base.
