I haven’t read any of this thread but I just wanted to say that I’m CLVL 31 and I wouldn’t hesitate to call this the best RPG I’ve ever played.
Because I only found the English stories that linked to the Polish language version.

Because we all don’t speak Polish, or that the English site didn’t post the entire interview?
Huh ? Even the WCFTech article that Telefrog posted links the original interview in english. I just dislike this trend I see of posting links to sites which only rehash some small part of original source, instead of posting the actual source.
Interesting chart from CDPR’s latest investor brief.

Murrica buying all your games! :p

I would guess that the Poland revenue number still went up, but with the success of Witcher 2 and 3, it just really exploded in the EU/US and even Asian markets.
A Polish website might have leaked the release date for the Blood and Wine expansion: April 26th. So far, it’s just a rumor, but I hope it’s true. ;)
It’s a bit too soon, I think June is a more realistic date.
Just a scooch over a month until April 26th, so they’re going to launch the climactic expansion with little to no marketing? Nah.
Besides, they’re going to want E3 coverage.
I’m booked into June with Salt and Sanctuary, Dark Souls 3, and TMNT. No rush.
Hmm, after all that delicious brawler combat, I might have to set this to easy again so I can burn through the fights.
Depends on the marketing you’re talking about. I’ve had several “BUY SEASON PASS PLS” emails from them in the last week or so. I think they’re building up quietly.

I’m a lot further behind most people, had to take about a month break. Right after finding Ciri.
So - no spoilers, but the epic battle after that. Holy Crap. Insert all the synonyms for epic here. I’ve broken my rule in these type of games and I keep the music on and wow. I felt like I was in the middle of an A list movie. I’m still in awe.
Here’ s great Gamespot interview with the CEO of CD Projekt. It’s hard to dislike this guy:
I’m late to the party, having started W3 back in january and staying up until 3AM last night to finish the base game. Something I haven’t seen much comment on is the great voice acting in this game, particularly Yen, Geralt, and Ciri, who convey so much emotion and tone with their acting that it really helps carry the writing - which is great in the first place. Even characters like Johnny the godling had great facial expressions and wonderful acting that sold the story.
Speaking of facial expressions, the facial animation system really make the game for me - and while googling I ran across an article about how that was done by algorithm, instead of motion capture, as I had assumed.
If I’d been fast enough to play it in 2015, it would have been my game of the year. No doubt once the second expansion drops and I play both x-packs together (in NG+ mode?) it’ll be a contender for this year for me.
Wow, you got through it really fast espressojim.
One thing that makes The Witcher 3 so different is how dense it is with memorable story beats in each section of the game, and in each geographic region. After finishing it, I still look back on different sections of it that come back to me from time to time. I’m also waiting for the second expansion and a LAAARGE chunk of time before I get the season pass and try all the new content.
I feel almost a little depressed today, in that there are all these great characters and story lines that I’ve left behind. I’m looking forward to getting back into the game, but I want a HUGE chunk of content so I can be immersed again - I don’t want 10 hours, I want 40+ :)
I think it was here that rrmorton and I had a brief agreement and fanboy heart a-fluttering about those facial animations. I’ll reiterate what I said then–what really sells it is how subtle they are. When Geralt first meets up with Triss, and they’re exchanging looks back and forth without actually saying anything and there’s only a slight movement to an eyebrow, or a cocking of the head…so good, and so able to convey the emotion of the moment without resorting to weird kabuki puppet motions.
