Finally finished Witcher 3 Main Questline.
So much to this game!. This is GOLY (Game of Last Year!) Since it came out in 2015, no?
It was indeed GOLY here at Qt3:
Just finished reading the first book of Witcher short stories as I wanted some background on Yennifer. It was fun reading the striga story from the 1st Witcher intro, but The Last Wsh where he meets Yennifer just cracked me up for days when we find out how Geralt got the djinn to flee in the first place
It also adds some poignancy to the quest of that same name in the game if you’ve decided to go full on Team Yen.
How is that translated in english ? In czech it is “táhni pryč a vyhoň si ho” which means in a very funny way “get out and jerk yourself off”, I assume in english it was something like “go away and fuck yourself?” :)
And btw now you have Sword of Destiny ahead, which I like quite a bit more than Last Wish.
@Paul_cze IIRC, that’s exactly how it was translated in English.
And it turned red and left in a hurry. … the English is much funnier, I have this image of an all powerful magical being being forced to do that…
It reminded me of this NSFW scene:
Wishmaster 2
My eyes are revolting against this blurred block spoiler. I think I’ll use the “hide details” option for paragraphs.
hahaha how have I never seen this
Oh, man. Get your hands on Wishmaster and Wishmaster 2 immediately. Cheesy, awful, fun.
Skip the later ones. (I think there are five total?) They lose the fun and become tedious.
Haven’t got that far yet. Still in Novigrad doing those questlines around level 12
Finally started second playthrough on death march this time. Before I did, I read the Matters of Conscience and Killing Monsters comic books, which were pretty good, taking place before TW2 and TW3. I finally know what Vesemir was talking there in the White Orchard inn.
Just killed the gryffin which went easier than I expected. It is good to be back.

Kinda cool if they can get rid of the fish eye.
That is a scary smooth frame rate.
I did a first person mod for Gothic that worked in similar way - I just plunked the camera more or less where your head would be. It used to lag a tiny amount behind your movement but it was ok… until you fell off a cliff or something and your body fell away, leaving your viewpoint hanging there for a second until you were yanked suddenly down. It was very Wily Coyote.
I keep thinking I’m ready to leave Novigrad for Skellige but then I find something else to do. I smuggled some mages, parted with Triss, rescued Dandelion, and set him up at the Chameleon. Now I’m out to get whoever did that to Priscilla and when I find that bastard, it ain’t gonna be pretty.
Good on you Mort! In all honesty, the Dandelion series of quests are some of the longest and most convoluted quests there, and felt to me like they were a little overly long at times. You’re seriously to the point now where the game’s various story quests start to find some footing. For me, you’re now ready to start the part of the game that took it from being “This is really good” to “This is the greatest thing ever.”
