Come on Jake, you cherry pick the one review that utterly adores it? It wasn’t even the first review out, it’s getting ok reviews overall but destructoid is the high end outlier.

So for Forza 5 - what steering wheels will it support?
Toronto Globe & Mail gave it at 100% :)
Only new Xbox One specific models. I don’t know that any will even be out for launch.

So it won’t use USB steering wheels that work on PC? :(

Just like the 360. It’s all proprietary, so third parties have to get approval and pay the licensing.
Amazon has opened up a few more preorders for anyone interested. Shows unavailable on the main page for me, but you can click through to the buying options and the side and preorder.
Even worse, it is a different proprietary that the X360, so existing 360 wheels don’t work either.
MS are basically changing protocol for the sake of it so they can license peripherals. Fuck that.

To be fair to MS, by all accounts so far, the chat voice quality on the XBONE is much better than the 360.
For future XB1 owners with a home theater setup, you may not want to use the cable/satellite pass-through as, as of right now, surround sound is not supported via it.

Marvel at the awesome power of multi-person Kinect. Well, sort of…
That is pretty stupid if they really want to make this a tv enhancing box. For their sake i really hope they fix this soon.
Reviews of Forza 5 are starting to trickle in as well. Significantly less content than 4, no more cars for winning races/events making it (perceived as) more grindy. But don’t fret, the grind is eased by micro-transactions and there is already $50 worth of DLC announced.
Looks pretty though. But while it is still scoring ok, it is shaping up to be the lowest rated of the franchise, if you put much stock in such things.
Somehow I can’t see Tom being super enthused about this iteration.
Less content than before but plenty of paid DLC to make up for it. Welcome to the future boys!
The game was obviously pushed for launch. I’m sure Forza 6 or whatever will be better.
I wasn’t planning on buying this one because I expected it to be a step back in terms of content.

Yikes! Kinect kinda iffy, loads of IAP in $60 games, $100 more… I’m starting to see why they weren’t optimistic about next gen.

So that’s a nice reversal from the xbox vs ps3. My PS4 took a few minutes to download a 300MB file and all in all I was up and running in 10 minutes or less from a brand new console. Of course Sony might be delivering min. 300MB each time where as MS might be able to get down to ~10MB in the future. Not sure if Sony has partial updates in place yet or not?
I only ordered DR3 for the xbone but I might pick up a Kinect game if everybody keeps raving about them, I skipped the Kinect on the 360. Wish I would have skipped the Wii U…
Xbox One has no storage management thanks to the [virtually unlimited] power of the cloud.
I smell PR spinning incomplete features.
