Tomb Raider for $3.99 is a great deal on the current Steam front page.
Uh… No. Of course not. I’m, uh…talking about how the next Tomb Raider was announced as an exclusive for Xbox and, uh…
Hey! Is that the new Star Wars trailer!?
I’m trying to avoid the trailer since I’ll end up watching the movie anyway. It remains to be seen whethor or not it is even possible to avoid a trailer that is sure to become omnipresent.

As trailer’s go, it’s not super spoiler-y, unless you count knowing what the light saber design of a possibly bad guy will look like in advance.

I’m not privvy to our companies dealings, but I’d be really surprised if we didn’t care about India, considering our very sizable Indian demographics within the company.
I’m assuming he meant in the context of gaming, where if anyone cares about India (MS, Sony, Nintendo, anyone?), they’re not doing a whole lot to show it.
I remember my best friend from college (who lives in New Delhi) telling me he had just bought his son a PlayStation 2, right around the time that Modern Warfare 2 was coming out for the 360/PS3. That seems to be what they were aiming for, marketing one generation behind to affluent Indian middle class. I thought that sounded like a good idea at the time. So they should be trying to sell them on Xbox 360 and PS3 around this time.
Console sales results from Black Friday (InfoScout) shows Xbox One bundles far ahead of the other consoles.

I cringe at the thought of all those new Xbox One owners being so disappointed with their Assassin’s Creed Unity game, if it’s still filled with bugs like it was at launch. Same with people trying matchmaking in The Master Chief Collection. Last couple of times I tried it, I still couldn’t find a game to join, so I went back to Destiny.
Can you play Halo with online friends? Or in other words, if you avoid matchmaking does the game still have problems?

Right, I was talking about gaming specifically. MS cares about windows and office in India.
Xbone bundles were cheaper than PS4 bundles. It all comes down to price sensitivity. Fifty bucks one way or the other makes a huge difference when neither console has many exclusive titles.

Perhaps, hadn’t played any CRPGs at that point.

Yeah, the only thing it really spoils is some of the toy line for the 2015 holiday season. No plot points, no identified characters.
I guess if you’ve been vigilantly avoiding all Star Wars news, the return of some original trilogy stuff could be a spoiler, but it’s hard to believe anyone doesn’t already know about what’s in the trailer.

Except these statements have been popping up for years, and yes, some people absolutely mean they hate JRPGS, as in hate they exist. If you think someone is not being literal, good for you. Some people are literal, and they spend a lot of time on this forum and others chastising the entire genre for body-sized swords, just look at some of the early FFXIV remarks.

Halo matchmaking’s been fixed for a while now, title update cleared it up.
AC Unity’s doing better than it was… I think they fixed 300 bugs (eek!) so far. My son’s been playing and all he’s run into so far was a dead woman whose lower geometry was stuck in sidewalk. But he’s more about parkour and murdering police than actual missions during his first 10 hours of gameplay. : )
How loud is the cooling fan supposed to be? We’ve had ours for about 2 weeks and since Saturday, it has started to sound like a computer with the cooling fans turned to maximum speed. No clicking or other weird noises that I’ve read/heard on the web & youtube, just really high fan speed when turned on.
That’s not normal. My XBO is very quiet. The only time I really hear it is when it’s updating itself.
