Thanks for the heads up. I had some fun with it on PC, and I think the console UI was good during the last beta weekend.
I’ll definitely give it a try.

Yeah me too! Are we friends on XBL?
— Alan
Hey if you guys are trying to put a party together for Neverwinter, I’m your huckleberry - divedivedive on XBL.
I don’t think whether we’re already friends on XBL, Alan. But add me if we aren’t. I’m Wendelius there too.
I’ll add you too, Pogue.
Wendelius
Cool! Unfortunately I think I’m 9 hours behind you Wendelius, but I bet we can work something out. I played a session with krayzkrok once, and he’s in Australia for pete’s sake.
Lego Marvel Super Heroes - $5
Diablo III Reaper of Souls - $30
Dragon Age Inquisition Deluxe - $35
If nothing else, we can work out some way to help each other by exchanging traded good.
I’ve got a busy long weekend coming. But hopefully we’ll be able to work out something in the coming week or 2. It would be great to do one of the dungeons in a Qt3 group at some point.
By the way, for those who want to read up more on NWO, the game thread is here: http://www.quartertothree.com/game-talk/showthread.php?69670-Neverwinter-MMO&goto=newpost&highlight=neverwinter
The console version is essentially identical to the PC version with the current expansions.

Oh is that you? hahah I think you’ve added me, didn’t know who that was. Will add Wendelius tonight. Been playing a bunch of Borderlands 2 over the weekend.
Oh, as for Lego stuff, I think all of the games are for sale. The Hobbit one is like $10 or $12.

Oh yeah, I saw you stuck your XBL tag in your address so I just added you. Sorry, should have sent a note along.

Queue position: 2403. Guess I’ll have to try Neverwinter some other time…
I guess I’ll probably give it a try too, since the conversation above seems to imply that it is free. But I will probably just dabble briefly to check it out. I don’t enjoy MMOs outside of Destiny. (Holy shit! I can finally say that I don’t dislike all MMOs! Exciting!)
Didn’t get a chance to try it last night (watched a stream for a little bit), pretty much just did the new GW3 stuff and that was it. Oh watched a little RBI 15; not sure if I want to get it though… though since I don’t have a PS4, not having a baseball game is pretty painful (one that’s not OOTP that is).

Running out of hdd space on my x1
If i delete digital games i purchased can i redownload them again or are they lost forever even though i paid for them?
Any reviews or opinions on external hard drives for x1? Looking for at least 7200 rpm and at least 1 T of extra storgstorage
If you delete digital games you purchased, you can redownload them again. It is kind of a pain, since it takes time.
This is what I got. But any USB 3.0 external drive will connect to the XB1 and acts as extra storage. Works beautifully. That one I linked to is 2 TB. After installing that, I’ve bought several games, and gotten several free from being a gold member, and I’ve installed a few from rentals. And yet, I’m still not even using 40% of my total space, despite my original 500GB internal drive being almost full.
Only caveat is that sometimes, on rare occasions, the drive doesn’t come on with the console, so I just unplug and then plug it in again. Then it comes and starts working.
I use a USB3 256GB stick, but yeah that with the internal storage I’m already fairly full and have already had to go through some storage shuffle (also annoying if space is running out on the stick or the drive, the Xbone occasionally gets confused, say it can’t install, then you have to tell it to install again and it’ll do it). I may just switch to a drive some time this year. (I’ve noticed however that using the media player on an attached drive sometimes it just times out for some reason. Not sure if this happens if you use a drive for pure use or not.)

I have 2TB drives on both of my Xbox Ones, and they’ve been flawless. (Cheap Toshiba external 2.5-inch drives.) No issues with them being recognized, etc.
You can now watch OTA TV broadcasts on the Xbone in the US and upstate new york (canada), if anyone cares about live TV without DVR in 2015. Probably not.
Call me when they add support for TV over DLNA. I’ve got a Silicondust HD Homerun Prime that’s awesome for serving up my cable channels over the network.
Well you can run Plex, and that can play DLNA streams.
