Yeah - it’s a pretty strange conclusion. Comes completely out of the blue and falls on its face - particularly since I’d stopped following the story about midway through.

Uncharted 1 also had a QTE Final Boss, and that game was well received, so maybe that convinced them QTEs are what the kids are into these days. Or maybe they just ran out of time to make a real ending.

Since people seem to have decided that Uncharted 1 is still in spoiler-avoidance territory, I’ll just say the the QTE was the best part of that boss fight.
