Oh wow, he finally reviewed that new Batman game.
BTW, do you know who made the new music? It really kinda sucks.

Bowser’s Inside Story is the absolute nadir of the Mario RPG series?
And then he goes and puts a tiny party hat JPG on Super Paper Mario which takes all the fun, depth and character out of the Paper series to make you kill SQUARES and TRIANGLES and then makes you run in a wheel for ten minutes because they forgot to make a game?
A frightfully good RPG that is possibly a bit too easy at times is the absolute bumming nadir and the shit-gurgling SPM deserves super imposed party-based head gear?
I’m shocked and possibly appalled. I haven’t decided yet.
“Award winning composer, singer and multi-instrumentalist Ian Dorsch” apparently.
I heard Dave Mustaine created it.
THIS WOULD ALL GO AWAY IF HE’D JUST APOLOGIZE!
He explaisn his schedule on the latest Extra punctuation http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/columns/extra-punctuation/6662-Extra-Punctuation-Wet
One week to play, one week to do the video an another week to publish, next week Brutal Legend

For the record: Tails could not actually fly in sonic 2, or more accurately the player could not actually ever control his flying.

Not a terrible review and he’s kind of right about the RTS elements which I’m really not a fan of. However, the garages are clearly identified by the red flower patches and the game does tell you that - he apparently wasn’t paying attention.
Yeah, in a game in which so many things are left unsaid and unexplained, it’s weird that the example he picks is one of the few things that are fully explained.

Motor Forges were probably the hardest thing to overlook; I suppose they could have put one immediately outside Bladehenge for when you get the deuce solo.
I do think there should have been a mission or two centered around the Mt Rockmore hornthrower. Gaining control of it would have inspired the revolution, and could have been what really got Lionwhyte to finish prepping his hair and fly down to see what in the world those crass unhairsprayed bladehengers were doing. And I was expecting something similar, prior to sudden ending, to feature into taking it back from the Coil.
I have no context for the above post and it kind of frightens me.
I will buy this game at some point.

I would have refused the package suspecting that EA mailed me a bomb.

I somewhat get the feeling from finishing Brutal Legend that there was tons of stuff Schafer would have added had he more time, money, and less hassle from the Activision clusterfuck that nearly sunk his release. It’s obvious enough that the story was somewhat rushed near the ending, just as much as there feels like there could be more to the original game design than what is currently on display.
As for Yathzee, his review is entertaining enough but Brutal Legend falls into two categories of games he really hates anyway. Sandbox and RTSes, both of which I thought Brutal Legend did quite well and would have been less entertaining as a world had the game been a linear action adventure model.

Sorry, but I do love this campaign :)
It sure beats the heck out of ‘sexually assault a conventioneer’.
I call bullshit! When you play 2 player coop and spam jump he could fly… Or was that sonic 3?
I played through the whole campaign and every side quest, and I still only understood about half of it.
