I get that they’re trying to leverage their most popular property, but a little respect for the audience would be nice.

You don’t have to kill 10 dogbabies to get rid of ads on the Escapist. Just subscribe.
Not as good as last review, but then again, I’m obsessed with Monster Hunter Tri. I do wish that Dogbabies were monsters you could hunt, however. And every review could use a cameo from the Mad Ocelot God.
As far as OCD item-gathering goes, I guess I’ll stick with the Atelier series.
I’d like to point out that accessing the site from an EU IP address, there’s absolutely no ads (OK, there 5 secs at the start of the Vid but I can deal with that).
Speaking of Atelier, it’s making me sad how the Japanese are getting the second PS 3 installment before the rest of the world gets the first.
Speaking as someone who can’t stand the series, that was a great description of the essential Monster Hunter gameplay.
And people were moaning about ads and some such upthread, sorry I didn’t quote them to make your thread reading life easier.

No, I got that. Since someone had already pointed out that it was region-based, I’m keen to know what you perceived as the utility of pointing it out again.
I still need to play Mana Khemia 2. Any opinions on which of the leads is the better character? I am leaning towards the perky chick because she gets the hilariously beefy wood mana first.
Hey, did you notice that even when read from en European IP-address, Zylon still comes of as quite dickish?
I sadly can’t give an opinion on that as I live in the EU and the PS 2 sadly is region locked and we did not get Mana Khemia 2 and Devil Summoner 2 :(.
That’s because the US releases of both sold roughly 12 copies each. Original PS2 material just dies over here now, which scares off European distributors.
The whole situation just makes it more confusing that NIS-A isn’t getting out Gust’s PS3 stuff, really. But I don’t understand anything NIS-A does as a company these days.
Heh. The content database for the game we’re working on is completely set up in Access, and at least once a week someone will say, “Why the hell did we decide to use Access?” Blame our CTO, who for some reason thought it was the best solution.
Huh. When read from an American IP-address, Zylon comes off more as a clueless buffoon who just doesn’t know any better.
Zylon’s posts always look the same to me:
This message is hidden because Zylon is on your ignore list.
It’s kind of repetitive but less stupid than before.

Oh dear, I’ve stirred up the howler monkeys again.
You know Warren, as loathe as I am to use the ignore list, I am beginning to think that you have the right idea.
