Man why can’t I watch these on my iPhone still.
You have to join the Escapist Publisher’s Club (which is $20 a year) to get html5 videos.
I didn’t think it was as funny as his usual reviews.

No, but that was the point. It was a good breakdown of the game I think and strangely sympathetic and sad.
This one was a dud…are we sure Jim Sterling didn’t write this one up? Yahtzee didn’t point out anything new about DNF that hasn’t been endlessly spouted by every other review, nor did he have any particularly witty bon mots sandwiched in between these mundane observations. I believe this one was a “well, I guess I had better get this one out of the way” obligational kind of thing, so yes it’s better than we just get this all behind us so we can get back to the funny.

He already had his fun with DNF in a previous video, reviewing it as the savior of gaming, so he may have made a conscious decision to go with a more serious tone.

He seemed a tad depressed in this one.
So, how do i get these to play again? I haven’t been able to see any Escapist videos on any computer i own for weeks now. I don’t have add blocks, and generally run everything default without any add-ons.

Really surprised how much he liked infamous 2’s characters. I’m in the Tom Chick camp when it comes to them :s I can’t think of a time where Yahtzee actually liked a narrative I wanted to murder, he always seemed to have such high standards.
He reviewed Infamous 2? And no one linked to it? I’m on it!
Infamous 2.
I’m surprised that infamous 2 is a game that he seemed to like pretty well.
Where’s his fake Duke Nukem Forever review?

Alice: Madness Returns. I still can’t believe that game got a sequel.
Is the “review” spoilery? Since I’ve got the game on the way to me.
Thanks. I’ll wait until next week then.

Good call. By next week Yahtzee’s sore throat should be cleared up.
