Why so serious?

No.

Your rationalizations have no power here, Jakub!

My mistake.

Oh well, I still don’t think it suits the show very much.

That it. I take back all the good things I said about Assassin’s Creed.

So, um… Are any of these other video shows that they’re running any good?

De-Rez is good, particularly the truth about 3D realms, “jack Thompson” the movie and Clan Excelsior.

Unforgotten Realms is also funny.

Video Game Theatre is one of those annoying productions by some wanker who just likes to show off the fact they have a liberal arts degree and you don’t.

Drawn by Pain just seems unnecessarily angsty to me, but some might like the premise. The chick in the previews looks hot, but I think she was molested or something so it is probably creepy to think that.

I like Unforgotten Realms. Have not viewed any others yet.

This week: Ninja Gaiden II. This was also the first week in a long while that I was able to load the site and video without issue on a Wednesday, woo. I loved the line about sequel numbering again.

BWahahahahhaa, totally lolled the entire time, especially at the end…

Fantastic episode, and completely dead on in its criticisms. This may be my favorite frame ever:

The music is growing on me.

I’m not sure why, but I only find the music jarring when it’s replayed at the end.

Possibly because it suits the intro video so well.

Both the E3 and the Ninja Gaiden videos had me in stitches. Outstanding stuff.

Prince of Persia retrospective.

Which made me realize that I never actually played any of last gen’s Prince of Persia games. I should check and see if GameStop has 'em used for cheap. (Right after I make sure they’re back compat.)

Whoops. Looks like the first one is compatible on 360, but not the second two. The selection on used GameCube games is always shit. Is it even worth trying to play Warrior Within on a Wii retro dongle if I don’t have a WaveBird?

I’m just going to imagine that the end music on this one was “Fly Me to the Moon”, instead of that headbanging bit which takes precisely the length of the opening credits to wear out its welcome.

The whining about the music is ridiculous and old, but it’s just too tempting to picture this one opening with “If I Could Turn Back Time.”

Gamecube games on the Wii have to use a Gamecube(-compatible) controller, I believe, unlike the VC games.

Yeah, I think you will need a gamecube controller proper of some stripe.

Either way, I’d say the pudding isn’t good enough to look past the dick-shaped hole in it, but tastes do vary.

I’ve actually never played them either, now I’m gonna head over to Amazon and see if they have the PC versions for cheap.
