The PC version of Saints Row 2 is infamously troubled. When it first launched on Windows in 2009, the port was derided as sloppy, buggy, and slapdash..
Honestly, with the Gentlemen of the Row mod it’s been fairly playable for years and it’s still the best game in the franchise, with a level of care and detail put into it that the later games simply can’t match and the most coherent (yet still often hilarious) narrative. That said, even modded it had issues, the defunct multiplayer is a real downer, and of course I’ve long wanted to see the DLC. Very much looking forward to the update.
