On PC I queue for a PvE survival game for ages and never got one. So now I don’t bother. I put on my big boy pants and go DZ looting. I never bother with PvP, always go Division Tech hunting or clearing landmarks.
Shield challenges in TD1.
I’ll be playing TD2 at launch on XBO (and maybe early, if I can convince myself to get Gold or Ultimate – not quite there yet) but have never played TD1. Once it goes back on sale for $30 for Gold like it was last week I’m going to buy it and work my way through it, if anyone would like to join just let me know!
75% of the story done, I am starting to dislike the enemies now though as I am running into purple and gold enemies during the story missions and their armor is taking forever to melt even if my level and my gear levels are 2-3 levels above them. Also any time JTF assist me , they are the worst at doing anything. Just finished the Comm’s relay tower mission, after 3 tries.
Any suggestions?
If you’re on pc i can assist sometime, fairly high end in classified strikers.
Anything but heroics and incursions should be np.
It will be a few days till I have time to play again, I’ll let you know. :)
This gonna take a while. :)
Wait, what’s going on? Why so many folks logging in at once?
Looks like division 2 log in?
Early access hits today/tonight region (or vpn) dependent?
Can’t see why the first would have a queue.
Edit: ya its div 2, some ps4 up, new New Zealand pc is up.
Ok, that makes more sense. I mean I probably would have put that in the Division 2 thread, but that’s just me.
@instant0 probably just misread the thread title. :)
Was sure I looked for it.
I’ll look again. :-)
I only bought the plebeian regular edition, so I guess Friday is when the grubby masses get let in?
We should probably just lock this thread.
But some of us are still playing The Division 1.

What? Dealing with massive queue and flaky day 1 issues? No thanks.

Well, there have been no queues or flaky issues at all for me, and I’ve been playing since yesterday (not continuously!). Still, though, The Division is a great game, and people absolutely should play it. TD2 is an iteration, not an evolution, and the storylines are connected enough that you’ll be a bit baffled if you skip straight to the sequel.

Sounds like a perfect reason for me to save some money and hop back in the first game if I need a Division fix!
I rather liked the first one, wonky and vaguely disturbing political context aside, though I never explored the PvP stuff much or did a lot of the higher end stuff as I played pretty much solo. I generally don’t like finding randos to play with online and I never have much luck matching schedules with anyone I know.
