It’s always interesting to hear the assortment of random things originating in various spots.
All my town is famous for is that Babe Ruth would come vacation here. That was until highways became a thing and now the lake is just all residential.
I keep on hoping there’s an idiot that has his autograph that puts it up in a garage sale. Somehow I think that’s not going to happen. ;) This picture was taken like 5 minutes from my house on a lakefront property.
Just watched The 'Burbs again, and one thing that stood out to me is that there’s a scene of Hanks watching Mister Rogers Neighborhood and singing along with the theme song.
And then 30 years later he plays Mister Rogers! Now that’s foreshadowing!
Crazy coincidence as well that he bought that big house in LA on the cheap and the whole thing started falling apart after he moved in.
