Thanks for the answers everyone. It was sort of a rhetorical question in that I knew that the consistent thread would be that you all spend much more time interacting with music. At various points I have maintained lists based off of threads like this or various year end lists but I find the recommendations pile up and I don’t have the time to seriously listen to them.
At one point I was maintaining extremely elaborate spreadsheets to aid my music-tracking through the year, fed from about half a dozen blogs I trusted a lot + various music threads here + some friends on socmedia. Then Covid-times depression robbed me of my ability to do anything, so I just fell back on the fuckin’ auto-playlists from Spotify, heh.
