The Summer of Bummer continues:
After the surprisingly watchable 4 I was hoping Bay finally learned his lesson. Damn all the naysayers but 4 was really fun.
NO.
5 is by far the worst. Narratively it is a stitch up of various discrete stories with zero coherence, worse than ever. Visually it was finally tiring to watch. 1-4 feels like there is something new but this time it feels been-there-done-that.
They should have just gone back to Megan Fox instead of finding a lookalike and shoehorned her to be the magic love interest.
Curiousity really kills the cat. I recommend avoiding this at all cost. I want my 2.5 hours back, Michael Bay.
