What happened to the whole “well that demo was pre-E3 and doesn’t represent final gameplay”? Any word on a new demo to get people interested about this game and wash the bad taste of the last one away before people refuse to buy the game?

From all the negative feedback here I was wondering why they released a demo in the first place. Seems like if the demo isn’t representative of the game then why bother?
