I’m thinking of Republican voters. The difference between unenthusiastic support for Pence or righteous anger that the Dems stole the presidency. I mean, Republicans are always livid but the latter scenario is a plausible narrative to motivate Republican voters whereas, “Hey guys, let’s re-elected Mike Pence!” doesn’t really sell as well.
