I think I’m with Tom Nichols on this. They are within their rights to move him from the NSC back to DoD. The problem will be if anything is done to hamper his career back at DoD.
I hesitate to grant that. By counterexample, Trump was ‘within his rights’ to fire Comey, since the President has the right to fire the head of the FBI. Of course he also has the right to have an NSC he trusts, but the reasons why he chooses one member vs another, or removes one member vs another, still matter. Vindman is being punished.
I believe this has already been resolved: no collusion, no quid pro quo. All of Little Twittler’s actions were just…

Yeah but good luck connecting Rick Gates to Trump. Didn’t even know the guy!

I can’t tell if Roger Stone will be everyone’s bitch in prison or if he’ll end up running a billion side scams and owning the place.
Real prison, or tennis prison?

Trump doesn’t give a crap about Roger Stone, and pardoning him just makes it looks like they’re close. I think it’s more likely that Stone (currently 67) is on the die-in-prison track. Maybe he and Manafort can be bunkies.
Has anyone ever figured out what game Corey Lewandowski is playing?
Mocking the criminal conspirators who helped you get Trump into the WH is really a strange thing to do…

Stone’s been released on bond, so let’s see if he successfully flees to Russia or if he gets caught like Parnas and Fruman.

For those interested, here are the actual charges he was found guilty on:
They forgot Count 8 (being an unbearably smug asshole).
