Completely valid point, a black person is lucky to survive long enough to be sentenced unfairly.
The only thing I would add is that this seems a little less about race and a little more about the massive amount that he’s been helping with the investigation.
But one can never know if he would even have gotten the opportunity to cooperate had his skin tone been less pale.

My girlfriend heard Carson speak years ago, and she said that at the time, he was super coherent, lucid, energetic… What you would expect from a world famous neurosurgeon.
Then in 2016, when he ran, he was totally different. She expressed a serious concern that something significant had happened to his cognitive faculties.
This isn’t really related to his political leanings, just the fact that a bunch of these guys in the GOP seen to have some kind of non trivial cognitive decline

I like how he doesn’t bother to give an example of what he means by “Judeo-Christian standards”. As if it was self-evident? He mntions Catholic education, abortion, and euthanasia. So he’s pointing towards the 10 commandments as the ultimate moral guide?
P.S. I don’t have problem with commandments 4-10 which are basically “don’t be a dick” and “be nice”. It’s 1-3 that are the problem.

Yeah you don’t get to the famous neurosurgeon part without actually being incredible on multiple levels. I just have to assume that Carson is just not someone anyone gets to see again… but I’ve encountered a number of physicians despite actively avoiding them, and their ability to do world renown work does not mean they process other information in a way people expect… like how someone who saves lives everyday struggles to use a mouse. Some of that is just… stubbornness.

Carson is a known practitioner of the arts of empathic healing. He doesn’t directly heal the afflictions of the mind, he instead absorbs them into his own. What you see now is the result of working on some severely brain damaged patients.
