I mean, OAN and the rest of them aren’t going to disappear if Biden becomes President. They’ll triple down and immediately shift from defense to ‘our country is DOOOMED’ offense mode.
Maybe if the GOP is decisively beaten for 3 or 4 cycles in a row this rancid chunk of our culture will get stuffed back under a rock where it belongs, but that’s a ways off and a big ask.

I’ve met many immigrants over the years, some served in the military most have not, from the Filippino house cleaner to the Luxembourg French teacher, to the Cuban doctor who refused to bill the government for Medicaid patients, to the Hungarian refugee who built Intel, they are the most patriotic group of people I’ve known. Of Trump’s many crimes his attack on immigrants is one of his most vile.

Immigrants are usually the best of us, because they fight to come here, and don’t take America for granted.
I don’t doubt this at all, but I wonder if we are still the top destination of potential immigrants? I’d rather be in a more socialist country that perhaps lowered the ceiling on my potential earnings but gave me better education and healthcare and didn’t have the same gap between top earners and average earners that we see here. And also wasn’t plagued with guns like we are here.

The United States still has way more immigrants than any other country, at around 50 million, but i dunno where the immigration rate has declined recently. I suspect that Trump has had an impact on that.
There are other countries with a higher percentage of their population as immigrants. For instance, the UAE has something crazy like 85% of their population are immigrants, as they are mainly foreign born labor for working the oil fields.
I wasn’t sure where to post this question but the troll in question is trolling with Russian propaganda and then trying to get me to do a ton of research to refute him. I’m not taking the bait but what is the phrase for a troll that sends you down rabbit holes of wasting your time doing research so I can call him out on it?
