Avenatti has played a lot right - and certainly got himself a long-term gig as a TV pundit. But the sketch idea is going to turn out to be a terrible blunder.
That sketch is so generic it could be thousands of guys. I’m not saying she wasn’t threatened, but trying to have her recall what the guy looked like years later and then releasing this information to the public is a huge misstep by her attorney. Now there’s a $100K reward too? They are making what was a nice sharp thorn in Trump’s side into an episode of Jerry Springer and dragging their credibility down by the minute. It’s opening a door Trump can escape through, and that sucks.
I’m pretty sure that the alt-right spin is it was Hilary Clinton in a rubber mask running a false flag operation.
