I knew he’d be one of the first to be rounded up. He stole some mail. Postal service does not fuck around.
I saw a story on the news that said he stole some letterhead. Though it did look like mail.

He is also on video admitting to the crime(s). Pretty easy prosecution.
Should we be buckling up?

I really hope they do not give bail to these guys. A bond and a promise to not leave the state and/or return to DC is not enough for insurrectionists. They are clear risks to society.

I’m buckling down for a change.

I know Black Rifle is a thing that exists, but not a thing I know anything about, not being a coffee drinker.
Why are people dunking on them specifically?
Alabma has the best terrorists.

I understood that reference!
1977 here, but otherwise ditto on all points. Drinks are on me after the pandemic.
(And then we can all be in bed by 11 because we are old)
Haha some of you remember the 70s
The first of my friends became grandparent recently. Admittedly she was a bit precocious in having her first child at 19, but still. There are people born in the mid/late 70s with grandkids now!

Worse yet, some of us have pictures of ourselves from the 70s.
Anyway:

No, this is specifically a speculative scenario of having a foreign kill squad mixed in with the insurrectionists. But you can substitute with a competent and motivated (and improbably competent) Atomwaffen Division if you like. (As opposed to being murderous, incompetent dipshits like Mr. Zip Tie Man with his - checks notes - visible apple watch, (product) red iphone, Tennessee badge, distinctive rifle cap, all of which motivated law enforcement agency could use purchase histories and social media posts to hunt you the fuck down.)
That there were foreign agents mixed in with the crowd compromising the security of the capitol is pretty much a given. Why wouldn’t throw some agents into that mix?

Yes, this is something I hope the security folks, NSA, etc. are considering. There’s no reason that Russia and China wouldn’t put agents among the crowd just in case they got into the Capitol building. It’d be a surveillance bonanza if they were able to install something on any PC or laptop in that building.
The expense of securing the building again has to be just staggering.
I thought the same thing, but Davis died in 2008, so that would be quite the comeback.
