You’re definitely doing something about it.
It’s not necessary to twist it in knots: the guy had zip ties so that he could immobilize someone and either hurt them, or threaten them with hurting so that they’ll do what he wants. There really is no other scenario.

Probably, because a huge number of hannity fans all reported me for it. The rules for twitter conduct are basically nonsense, and ultimately they’re “enforced” by some random outsourced person who isn’t really interested in what’s actually happening. They can’t afford to bother considering the “merits” of any given case.
Also, I guess technically, it was my second ban. I was banned prior to that for calling the head of the RNC a whore. Which, by the way, I stand by, as I believe her willingness to sell herself makes her technically a prostitute. So it probably became permanent since it was a “repeat offense”.
I suspect that in those two cases, the reason I ended up catching flack was they happened to be the first replies to Hannity and the RNC Chair, respectively, so everyone who saw those tweets saw my response.
But still, cool that those two offenses were deemed worse than literally trying to overthrow democracy.
I suspect that what technically triggered the ban, was that I didn’t simply tell them to fuck off (which, as you say, seems to be fine).
But since I actually asked Hannity whether he was retarded, it could somehow be interpreted as being an attack on a protected class of people… which honestly, is kind of silly, because it’s not an attack on mentally disabled people.
I mean, I guess it was an attack on Hannity for being stupid, and perhaps his stupidity is in fact severe enough that he falls into that classification. In that case, sorry Sean.

Sounds about right for Twitter.
They’re certainly worse than death threats according to Twitter in my experience.

Pssst… the entire point of an analogy is to make something easier to understand.

Or he wants everyone to think what a badass he is cause he’s got zip ties and don’t think he won’t use them if there’s an opportunity and the right things happen and he’s forced to, cause you know, he’s got them! When he needs them…

what is Jamie Raskin’s 25th Amendment legislation??
You know the movie 300? Like 13 times that.
Not only would Trump not lose any voters in that scenario, he might gain some.
Dunno. In reality, probably like double secret probation or something. Or a Demi Moore strenuous objection. It’ll sound fierce, but I can’t imagine it doing much.

Turns out Civil War 2 enthusiasts are looking at 1:11 odds in their insurrection.
Not great odds, Cotton.
Perhaps you could convert it to units of Tractor Pull Stadium crowds per NFL season.
Hope you had a great ride, dumbfuck.

Damn. I don’t know what other response they could have had in that situation. I don’t want to cross any lines and I want to make sure I’m clear that I’m not celebrating her death, but I’m glad it was met with that kind of force there because it feels like “shit got real” for people in that moment and they didn’t push any further. That is, I think the response was appropriate and I believe it may have led to less of a loss of life.
That mob bashing down the doors with members of congress on the other side… fuck. We are so lucky this didn’t turn out worse than it was.

You are losing basically an Army division every 3 days? So considering the US Army has 10 active divisions, you wipe out the equivalent of that in about a month.

The human readable explanation (has a link to the actual bill):
Unconfirmed reports that Pence was on the other side there. Which is why guns were drawn and aimed with intent.
