Did he post the zip tie pic on his FB account? I can see the connection from the hotel video to FB, but missed the connection from there to being the guy with the zip ties.
Short answer: He was interviewed for someone’s livestream while relaxing at the hotel. He was wearing the same outfit, sans mask, and that same woman was next to him. From there, people found his Facebook account, which was filled with exactly what you’d expect it to have before he deleted it.
