Why the Masterpiece Theater music intro?
Is this Dave Baptista’s smaller brother?

It’s good that they’re sending the message, though bad they have to.
But it won’t matter to Q and Maga World in the military: they believe that the election was stolen by Biden and that they are the true defenders of the Constitution.
I hope what is also happening is a broad evaluation and rooting out of those elements in the military.

This is kind of a useless press conference.

Sooooooo… why again was the police presence at the Capitol so small?

This press conference is like, “We’re doing our job!” when it should be more about how they plan to do their job over the next weeks to make sure this doesn’t happen again.

We’re doing a great job rounding up those horses that got out of the barn.
or FBI: “We’re cleaning up their mess.”
I’d be pissed if I was the FBI and told the USCP what to expect and got…bupkes.

Yeah, though it sounded like they only referring info on specific individuals, who were mostly apprehended beforehand. No mention that they anticipated any kind of mass action.
Delightfully ominous, especially if they actually follow through with it.

Good first question. My exact question.
“What intelligence did you have beforehand and who/how did you share it?”
Answer:
“We had intelligence and we shared it.”
I don’t know if this even qualifies as slap on the wrist.
Hawaii ‘Proud Boy’ Nicholas Ochs, who was arrested last week after storming the U.S. Capitol, can go free, at least for now.
On Monday, U.S. Magistrate Judge Wes Porter allowed Ochs to be released from the Federal Detention Center in Honolulu on $5,000 bond and a promise he won’t leave Oahu unless it is to travel to Washington, D.C., for future court proceedings.
Ken Sorenson, an assistant U.S. attorney for the District of Hawaii, asked Porter to also ban Ochs from attending political rallies and returning to the Capitol grounds, but the judge declined.
It most definitely doesn’t because a slap on the wrist is a trivial punishment and this guy hasn’t been sentenced yet. It’s a little premature to complain about the severity of his punishment pre-sentencing isn’t it?

Depending on whether he has priors, the charges he’s faced with he’d most likely get probation/house arrest.
If he has priors, 6 months is most likely.
Or they’re not done issuing charges…
