See: Intelligence issue and Cultural issue.

I still think it’s a cocktail of all four issues.

Probably the worst argument one could possibly make because it asks Trump to basically admit he ordered the storming the Capitol.

My point was that don’t ascribe what these jackholes were doing to legitimate mental health issues. They don’t get off that easy, and mental health shouldn’t be sullied by association.

Eugene Goodman is a hero

He saved hundreds of lives, by playing it cool and diverting a mob.

From that article, he wants to keep his head down as much as possible, and I don’t blame him. He is one of the heroes of the day, though, and should be recognized for it, if not today, then down the line.

Maybe sit the next few plays out, The “maybe the white, racist, violent insurrectionists are mentally ill so easy on them” look is, I dunno, not a good one.

Most mentally ill are harmless, some aren’t *. Who’s going easy on them?

* when combined with the other issues Houngan listed

That picture made my day. Thank you for sharing

Actually two major Abrahamic religions do not consume pork
We wrote to our representative to consider Eugene Goodman as a hero and nominate him for a Medal of Honor. Though seeing how awards are being given lately, we might want to invent a new actual Medal of Honor.

Literally the worst rank.

You said you think most people that stormed the Capitol are mentally ill.

I would love your thoughts on the mental state of folks responsible for any other number of horrid events to excuse any part of it with what you are implying.

Evil, particularly evil done largely by racist white men, should not be hand waived away with “but some might not be in a great mental state”. Full stop

Bullshit.

Please advise

Might want to re-read the thread before calling BS on someone who is just quoting you at you.

most =/= ‘a lot of’

Okay, but “a lot of” indicates a significant number.

If we want to get pedantic, please tell us at what point “most” does not equal “a lot of”. I would like to know the exact percentage so as to not make a mistake in the future.

I actually don’t know what you guys are talking about or the context of any of this.

But when I think ‘most’ I think 80%+, and ‘a lot of’ can be anywhere from 10-90% depending on the size of the set and the uniqueness of the feature (e.g. even if Trump got 10% of the vote I would be justified in saying “there are a lot of Trump voters in USA”.

You’re welcome!
